Nina Ricci’s exhibition in the prestigious Rive Gauche store Bon Marché

From 18th February till 24th March, Nina Ricci is invited by the Bon Marché to show the spring-summer collection 2012 created by Peter Copping with the designs of Atelier Zina de Plagny. The exhibition is called “Jardins d’Impressions”, to underline that the floral motifs of the clothes are the heart and spirit of the collection.

Discover the shop-windows of rue de Sèvres, the decoration of which is inspired by the floral designs of Atelier Zina de Plagny chosen by Peter Copping, and then the main parts of the exhibition on the ground floor, in front of the central entrance, and on the 1st floor, in the “Appartement de Mode”, and also in the “Passerelle”.

The exhibition, entitled  “Une Promenade avec Zina” / “Take a Walk with Zina”, took place in the Musée de la Vie Wallonne, in the old city, near the central exhibition DESIGN NATURE (scenography by Yves Weinand), which showed the creations of designers such as Mathieu Lehanneur.

The artistic director of Atelier Zina de Plagny had imagined a breathtaking scenography, with a perspective of 3 murals reproducing images of our collection, produced by the British company SURFACE VIEW, around which were shown the original designs of the Atelier. Bespoke murals, canvases and blinds  reproducing designs of the Atelier, such as those shown below,  can be bought on their website:

The third part of the exhibition was created in the spirit of a creative studio, with on the one hand examples of our collaboration with students of the fashion School of Liège, HELM’o: Alice Stalport, Claire-Anaïs Boulanger and Reda Faklani. The three students were selected among 16 others, who all had to design clothes with the same fabric specially made by the Studio TreErre with a drawing of Atelier Zina de Plagny.

On the other hand, visitors could see clothes created by the French fashion designer LESLIE FERRé, with fabrics also specially made by the Studio TreErre with our designs for her 2011 summer collection. Her creations were shown in a corner of the room, the walls of which were decorated with Surface View murals reproducing a design of Atelier Zina de Plagny.
